Will Coles‘ first solo exhibition marked the beginning of a long-standing friendship and highly intensive collaboration on projects. The Australian sculptor’s works comment on the contemporary art scene and everyday social, political, and cultural madness — never pointing a finger in a patronizing way, but rather pointing the other one in the middle. A special action during his stay in Hamburg was the distribution of larger-than-life concrete bottles at key locations throughout the city. It attracted attention and led to numerous thefts.
